 The 1st Annual Forward Music Festival An Evening Celebrating Creative Music Saturday October 6, 2007 The newly formed Creative Musicians Collective (CMC) with the co-sponsorship of Charles Lester Music proudly announces the inaugural Forward Music Festival. The CMC is a locally based musician action group comprised of musicians, artists, and their supporters committed to bringing new and innovative jazz-rooted music and related performing arts to the communities of the San Francisco/Oakland Bay area. The Forward Music Festival is the initial event presenting a full evening program of creative, improvised music featuring locally based and internationally recognized musicians.
