Free Jazz Day: July 15, 2006, 1pm -1am

the 12-hour free jazz show is here. the programme will look something like this:

All Music from my recent and some not so recent playlists will be played. and there's gonna be loads of poetry, spoken word and chat with people...and live music.

sometime in the evening we'll get to speak to marco eneidi from the nickelssdorf jazz festival, austria

13h-14h: we start with listening to the greats -anthony braxton, muhal richard abrams, art ensemble of chicago, albert ayler, mingus, joe mcphee et al.

14h-15h: we speak to alexandre pierrepont, the well known social and cultural anthropologist specialising in afro-american and creative musics, and listen to more music

15h-16h: we talk to michel dorbon of rogueart records (to be confirmed), and more music

16h-17h: we talk to
nicolas netter of chief inspector records, and more music

17h-18h: we speak with
julien palomo, sonny simmons' archivist in france, more music

18h-19h: brief chat with adrien chiquet, the new director of jazz à mulhouse festival, more music

19h-20h: pedro costa of cleanfeed records from lisbon(to be confirmed), more music

20h-21h: possible conversation with martin davidson of emanem records

21h-22h: this hour will be dedicated to the memory of the great
glenn spearman & the great raphé malik


22h-23h: live music, with pierrick menuau solo on tenor sax

23h-24h: brief chat with ras moshe, saxophone player from nyc, more music

24h-01h: brief chat with marc edwards, free jazz drummer & percussionist, more music
